NBSD FOOD SERVICE UPDATES

JUN 14, 2022
The North Bend School District Food Services Department is here to support families and prepare you for the changes coming our way next school year.
COVID-19 waivers have allowed our schools flexibilities to operate outside the normal restrictions for free/reduced-priced lunches. As we return in the 2022-2023 School Year, these waivers that North Bend High School students have benefited from will be expiring. You may still qualify for meal benefits but it will require you to apply online. Income eligibility requirements have increased allowing more families to get additional support.
Please go to the NBSD Food Services Page to apply and get more information about qualifications. We encourage families to think ahead by applying for free/reduced-price meals. As a reminder, any application approved before July 1, will allow for a 30 day carryover into the new school year, but a new application is required after July 1.
CEP schools provide school breakfasts and lunches to ALL students at NO CHARGE while they are enrolled in a CEP school during the current school year. The following are the NBSD CEP schools during the 2022-23 school year: Hillcrest Elementary, North Bay Elementary, and North Bend Middle School. Families do NOT need to submit a free or reduced-price meal application for students who are enrolled in a CEP school.
