Please join us in welcoming Amanda O’Brien as the Principal of Hillcrest Elementary School.  Amanda brings 20 year of educational experience to the district working as a teacher, Federal Programs Coordinator, and Elementary Principal.  Amanda holds a masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon. 

Amanda has 11 years of successful experience as an Elementary Principal.  In her previous positions, Amanda has helped to lead academic achievement and improve school culture and climate.  While in Central Linn, Amanda led her school to the top 11% of all schools in the state, and the top 3% of schools with similar demographics.

Amanda has a strong passion for education and is a strong leader driven by student success, staff collaboration, and always works to do what is best for children.  North Bend is grateful to have such a talented leader join our district.  Please join us in welcoming Amanda to the North Bend family.
