February 15, 2026 is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day

North Bend School District would like to extend our sincere thanks to the School Resource Officers who serve the North Bend School District and support our students, staff, and families each day.

Officer Jerad Jaehnig serves North Bend High School and North Bay Elementary. He is a trusted presence in our schools and has been recognized for his work as the 2023 Officer of the Year. He also holds a national certification from the National Association of School Resource Officers, showing his strong commitment to school safety and student support.

Officer Trevor Sanne serves North Bend Middle School and Hillcrest Elementary. He brings care and professionalism to his role and was recently honored with a Life Saving Award at the department’s 2025 awards ceremony, recognizing his quick action and dedication to protecting others.

We are grateful for the time, care, and commitment Officers Jaehnig and Sanne give to our school community. On National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, February 15, 2026, and throughout the year, please join us in thanking them for all they do to help keep our schools safe and welcoming.
